  • Albert Sussman, 1916-2004
The Zell/Lurie Center regrets to note the passing away on June 8, 2004, of our long-time friend Albert Sussman, former International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Executive Vice President. The Albert Sussman Professorship, established in his honor in 1987, was the first endowed chair in the Real Estate Department at Wharton and established the foundation for the growth of our program. Professor Peter D. Linneman was named to the Albert Sussman chair in 1989 and proudly continues in that position. We join Mr. Sussman's many friends at the ICSC and throughout the industry in mourning this loss and wishing his family well.
