Richard Frost
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing away of long-time
Zell/Lurie Center staff member, Richard Frost. Richard joined us in 1997 and was
the senior staff person at the Zell/Lurie Center until his retirement in 2003.
He was still working part time with the Center until his death. Richard was a
1961 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and proudly served in the United
States Marine Corps. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that contributions in
his memory may be made to either The Richard Frost Award (checks made
payable to The Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, and addressed to the
Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center, Suite 1400, Steinberg Hall-Dietrich Hall,
3620 Locust Walk, Philadelphia, PA 19104) or to Friends of Acadia (43
Cottage St., P.O. Box 45, Bar Harbor, Maine 04609). If you have any questions or
need further information, please call Janice Leberman (215.898.3824).

The Zell/Lurie Center regrets to note the untimely death of Kathryn J.
Engebretson, President of the William Penn Foundation and former CFO of the
University of Pennsylvania. Kathy was a great friend of this program and was a
firm believer that good policy is always grounded in first-rate research. The
energetic interest she showed in our research and its implications for the local
region certainly helped make us better. We join her many friends in mourning her
loss and wish her family well. Read more
